For most homes with central air, a heat pump or mini-splits, yes. CASC's Residential HVAC Maintenance Plan is $189 for the first system and $99 for each additional system, plus tax. It includes a spring cooling visit and a fall heating visit, plus 10% off qualifying repairs and service-call fees. It does not auto-renew.
What does the plan include?
Two visits a year, one for cooling in spring and one for heating in fall, plus 10% off qualifying repairs (parts and labor) and service-call fees.
- Price: $189 for the first system, $99 for each additional system, plus tax.
- Visits: spring cooling checkup and fall heating checkup.
- Savings: 10% off qualifying repairs, parts and labor, and 10% off service-call fees.
- Mini-splits: each indoor head counts as one system.
- Renewal: the plan does not auto-renew. You choose whether to sign up again.
- Filters: not included, so keep changing yours on schedule.
What does it not cover?
The plan is for heating and cooling only. It does not cover plumbing, water heaters or drains, and it does not include filters.
Repairs are not free on the plan. Members get 10% off qualifying repairs and service-call fees. The military, first responder and senior discount cannot be combined with other discounts.
Who gets the most from a plan?
Homes that rely on their system year-round, households with more than one system, and anyone who tends to forget checkups get the most value.
Central Arkansas summers are long and humid, and heating season follows quickly. Two scheduled visits a year line up with how hard your system works here.
- Heat pump homes, since the same equipment runs in summer and winter.
- Homes with two systems or several mini-split heads.
- Owners who want a set spring and fall reminder instead of tracking it themselves.
- Anyone who would rather catch a weak part at a checkup than during a heat wave.
When might you skip it?
If your system is brand new and you already keep up with checkups on your own, or you plan to replace the system soon, a plan may matter less.
There is no penalty for passing. You can still book a repair any time, starting with a service call: $99 on weekdays and $149 on weekends and holidays.
What happens at a maintenance visit?
Your technician checks the parts that matter for the season, cleans what needs it and lets you know about anything wearing out.
A spring visit focuses on cooling: the outdoor condenser, the indoor coil, refrigerant performance, drain lines and airflow. A fall visit focuses on heating: burners and flame sensor on a furnace, or heat mode and auxiliary heat on a heat pump.
If something needs repair, you get the plan's 10% off qualifying parts and labor.
What about businesses?
Businesses use our Commercial HVAC Maintenance Program instead: quarterly visits, filters supplied by CASC, priority scheduling and 10% off repairs. Request a quote for your building.

- How our pricing works Repairs start with a service call: $99 on weekdays and $149 on weekends and holidays, for HVAC and plumbing. That fee is not waived or credited toward the repair. HVAC replacements, larger plumbing projects and commercial HVAC projects get a free estimate instead. There is no travel fee within our normal 50-mile service area.
- How central air and heat pumps work A central air conditioner moves heat from inside your home to the outdoors using refrigerant, an indoor coil, an outdoor compressor and a blower. A heat pump uses the same parts plus a reversing valve, so it can run the cycle backward in winter and bring heat inside instead.
