1. Our commitment

Central Arkansas Service Company ("CASC") is a family-owned HVAC and plumbing company in North Little Rock, and we want every customer to be able to learn about our services, request service and contact us, whatever their abilities or the technology they use. We consider accessibility part of good customer service, consistent with the goals of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and we work on it continuously rather than as a one-time project.

2. The standard we follow

We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more usable for people with visual, hearing, motor, speech and cognitive disabilities. We consider the site partially conformant: most of it meets the standard, and we are working on the items listed under Known limitations.

3. What we have done

Clear page structure. Each page uses standard HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main content and footer), a single main heading, and headings in a logical order so screen-reader users can move around quickly.
Skip link. A "Skip to main content" link appears when you press Tab on any page.
Keyboard use. Menus, links, buttons, forms and the cookie notice can be used with a keyboard, and a visible focus outline shows where you are. While the cookie notice is open, the page leaves room for it so it never hides the footer links or the item you are on.
Text alternatives. Meaningful images have descriptive alternative text, and decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers.
Forms. Every form field has a visible label, required fields are marked, and error messages explain what to fix.
Color and contrast. We design for WCAG 2.2 AA color contrast and do not rely on color alone to convey meaning. Our latest automated check found no contrast issues on the pages we tested.
Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns off smooth scrolling and its reveal animations.
Readable, resizable content. The site is designed to work when zoomed to 200 percent and adapts to phones, tablets and desktops. We write in plain language.
Language and titles. Pages declare their language and have descriptive titles.
Testing. We check pages with automated accessibility tools (such as axe) and with manual keyboard testing, and fix issues as we find them.

4. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible:

Embedded Google Maps. The maps in our footer and on our contact page are provided by Google, and we cannot fully control or test their accessibility. Our address, 8010 Counts Massie Rd, Ste B, North Little Rock, AR 72113, is always shown as text next to the map.
Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which runs in the background when you send a form. It is provided by Google, so we cannot fully control its accessibility. If it ever blocks you from sending a form, call us instead.
Other websites. Links to financing providers, manufacturers, review sites and social media go to sites we do not control.
Older content. Some posts brought over from our previous website may have images without full descriptions. We are reviewing them.

5. Browsers and assistive technology

The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox) on desktop and mobile, and with common assistive technologies such as screen readers (for example, VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS), screen magnifiers, voice control and keyboard-only navigation. It relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA. Older browsers and assistive technology may not support every feature.

If you have trouble using any part of this website, or need information in a different format, please let us know. Tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you use, if you can.

This statement was prepared on October 14, 2026, based on a review of the site using automated testing tools and manual checks. We review the site's accessibility and update this statement at least once a year, and whenever we make significant changes to the website.
