Different buildings stress HVAC and plumbing in different ways. Restaurants push drains, grease traps and rooftop units hard; offices and shops need steady comfort and working restrooms during business hours. CASC serves business owners, property managers, landlords and facility managers with commercial HVAC and commercial plumbing service across Central Arkansas.
Why does building type change what you need?
Use drives wear. A kitchen exhausts heat and sends grease down the drains all day, while an office's main load is people, lights and computers. The service plan should match.
Most commercial buildings in our area run packaged rooftop units, split systems or mini-splits for heating and cooling, and a mix of restrooms, kitchens and floor drains for plumbing. What changes is how hard each part works and what a breakdown costs the business.
A few questions shape the right service plan for any building. How many heating and cooling units serve the space, and how old are they? How many restrooms and kitchens are there? Does a grease trap or interceptor serve the building? Is there a backflow preventer that needs periodic testing? Who has roof access, and when can work happen without disrupting customers or tenants?
What commercial HVAC work does CASC handle?
We service, repair, replace, install and maintain commercial rooftop units (RTUs), split systems and mini-splits. New construction is not our focus.
Packaged rooftop units are common on restaurants, shops and offices because the whole system sits on the roof, out of the way. Split systems put the condenser outside and the air handler inside, and mini-splits cover individual rooms like server closets or offices added later.
Whatever the setup, the work is the same at heart: clean coils, good airflow, sound electrical parts and correct refrigerant charge.
What commercial plumbing work does CASC handle?
Drain cleaning, hydro-jetting, camera inspections, sewer work, leak detection and repair, water heaters, gas lines, backflow and grease traps or interceptors.
Commercial plumbing sees heavier use than a home: more restrooms, more people, larger drains and, in food service, grease. Backflow preventers protect the public water supply and need periodic testing.
We handle the routine and the urgent, from clearing a restroom line to camera-inspecting a sewer lateral and servicing grease traps and interceptors.
Recurring drain trouble is a common reason businesses call. When a line keeps clogging, a camera inspection shows whether the cause is grease, roots, a sag or damaged pipe, and that decides whether hydro-jetting, a repair or sewer line replacement makes sense.
What does a commercial maintenance program include?
CASC's Commercial HVAC Maintenance Program is quarterly, includes filters we supply, gives you priority scheduling and a 10% repair discount. It covers HVAC only, and pricing is by quote.
Quarterly visits fit buildings where comfort affects customers and staff. Each visit is a chance to change filters, clean and inspect equipment and flag worn parts so repairs can be planned instead of rushed.
Skipping maintenance tends to show up at the worst time: a rooftop unit that quits on a hot afternoon, or a heating failure on the first cold morning of the season. A quarterly schedule spreads attention through the year so seasonal changeovers are planned.
Which building types are covered in this guide?
Restaurants and food service, and offices and retail. Each guide covers the systems that work hardest in that building, what tends to fail and how to plan service around business hours.
Property managers and landlords with mixed portfolios can use both. If your building doesn't fit either, call and describe it; the same RTU, split system and plumbing basics apply.
Landlords with residential rentals can call us too. Single-family rentals and small multifamily buildings use the same residential equipment we service every day, and we can coordinate access with tenants when you tell us how you prefer to handle it.
How do you get started?
Request a commercial quote. Commercial HVAC projects get a free estimate, and the maintenance program is priced by quote for your equipment.
Call 501-307-1310, Monday through Sunday, 7 AM to 6 PM, or send the contact form.
It helps to have a short equipment list ready: the number of rooftop units or split systems, approximate ages if known, restrooms and kitchens, and any recent repairs. That lets us give you a quote that matches your building.

- HVAC and plumbing for restaurants Restaurants work their plumbing and HVAC harder than most buildings. Grease, food solids and hot water stress kitchen drains and grease traps, while cooking heat and constant door traffic load the rooftop units. Planned drain care, grease trap service and quarterly HVAC maintenance help prevent the breakdowns that close a dining room.
- HVAC and plumbing for offices and retail Offices and retail spaces need steady comfort and working restrooms during business hours. Most run rooftop units or split systems, sometimes with mini-splits for server rooms or add-on spaces. Quarterly HVAC maintenance, planned repairs and attention to restrooms, water heaters and backflow devices keep small problems from closing the doors.

- Drain snaking vs hydro-jetting Drain snaking uses a spinning cable to punch through a clog and get water moving again. Hydro-jetting uses high-pressure water to scrub grease, sludge and buildup off the inside of the pipe. Snaking handles most simple clogs. Jetting fits repeat clogs, heavy grease and main lines, as long as the pipe is in good enough shape.
- Is a maintenance plan worth it? For most homes with central air, a heat pump or mini-splits, yes. CASC's Residential HVAC Maintenance Plan is $189 for the first system and $99 for each additional system, plus tax. It includes a spring cooling visit and a fall heating visit, plus 10% off qualifying repairs and service-call fees. It does not auto-renew.
- Request a commercial HVAC or plumbing quote Businesses can request a commercial HVAC or plumbing quote through our contact form or by calling 501-307-1310. CASC handles rooftop units, split systems and mini-splits, plus commercial plumbing, drains, grease traps and backflow. Commercial HVAC projects get a free estimate, and our quarterly Commercial HVAC Maintenance Program is quoted per building.
