When you replace your heating or cooling system, CASC shows you Good, Better and Best options. Each step up changes the equipment, efficiency rating, comfort features and price. Sizing, installation quality, permits and our warranty stay the same. You pick the option that matches your comfort goals, how long you plan to stay and your budget.
Why do we show three options?
Because no single system is right for every home or every family. Three options let you compare real tradeoffs instead of taking one take-it-or-leave-it quote.
Each option is built for your home, not pulled from a brochure. The difference between them is mostly what the equipment does once it is running: how efficiently it uses energy, how evenly it holds temperature, and how well it handles humidity.
If you are still deciding whether to repair or replace, start with our blog post on that question, then come back here.
What changes as you move up?
Efficiency ratings, how the equipment runs, and comfort features usually go up with each step. The upfront price goes up too.
- Efficiency: higher SEER2 (cooling), HSPF2 (heat pump heating) or AFUE (furnace) ratings.
- Operation: single-stage equipment runs full blast or off; two-stage and variable-speed equipment can run at lower speeds for longer, even cycles.
- Comfort: lower-speed operation tends to mean steadier temperatures, quieter running and better moisture removal in a humid Arkansas summer.
- Features: thermostat and control options, plus indoor air quality add-ons such as a whole-home dehumidifier, UV light or air cleaner.
What stays the same at every level?
The install. Every option is sized for your home, installed by licensed and certified technicians, permitted where required, and backed by the same warranty.
We run a Manual J load calculation when the home calls for it, such as after an addition, a big change to the house, or when the old system never kept up.
New HVAC installs carry a 10-year parts and 2-year labor warranty, with labor covered by CASC. You can add an optional 5- or 10-year extended labor plan on any option.
CASC installs Rheem equipment and is a Rheem Pro Partner.
How do you choose the right level?
Match the option to your plans and your complaints. How long you will stay, how humid the house feels, and whether some rooms run hot all point toward a level.
- Planning to move in a few years? A Good option covers dependable comfort.
- Dealing with sticky air or uneven rooms? Better and Best equipment that runs at lower speeds can help.
- Want the quietest, most even comfort and the highest efficiency? Look at Best.
- Not sure about heat source? Compare a heat pump and a gas furnace first.
How do you pay for it?
Financing options available. Synchrony financing covers HVAC and plumbing, and RTO National offers a lease-to-own path for HVAC with no credit needed.
Ask about current manufacturer rebates and available offers when we review your options. We do not publish replacement prices because every home is different, so the estimate is where you see real numbers for each level.

Frequently asked questions
Should I always pick Best?
Not always. It makes the most sense if you plan to stay a long time, have humidity or uneven-room complaints, or want the highest efficiency. A Good option is a solid, dependable choice for many homes.
Does the warranty change between options?
The base install warranty is 10-year parts and 2-year labor, with labor by CASC. You can add an optional 5- or 10-year extended labor plan to any option.
Can I mix and match features?
Often, yes. Add-ons like a whole-home dehumidifier or a different thermostat can be discussed on any option. Ask your technician during the estimate.
Do you charge for the replacement estimate?
No. Estimates are free for HVAC replacements, larger plumbing projects and commercial HVAC projects.

- SEER2, HSPF2 and AFUE explained SEER2 rates how efficiently an air conditioner or heat pump cools over a season. HSPF2 rates how efficiently a heat pump heats. AFUE rates how much of a gas furnace's fuel becomes heat in your home. Higher numbers use less energy, but only when the system is sized and installed correctly.
- Manual J load calculations and right-sizing A Manual J load calculation is an industry method for figuring out how much heating and cooling your home actually needs, room by room. It looks at insulation, windows, sun exposure, air leakage and local weather. CASC uses Manual J when needed, not on every replacement, because many swaps can be sized from the existing system.
- Heat pump vs gas furnace in Central Arkansas A heat pump uses electricity to move heat and also cools your home. A gas furnace burns natural gas to make heat and pairs with a separate air conditioner. Both can work well in Central Arkansas. The right choice depends on gas service at your home, your ductwork, your utility rates and how you like your home to feel.
